Yeah i think the design of this razor has been commented before. I know certainly I nearly did this.

The worst cut i got was my index finger. I still shreek when I think about it, like I just did now.

It was when I was opening a new knife and my finger ran up along the side of the blade.. OWW!!!

Was in paper stitches for a few days...

Set the edge of the head against your bathroom counter to to stop it's rotation and twist the grip.
Better yet, figure out a setting that works for you, with your blade of choice, set it and leave it there.

I tried to adjust mine with my chin this morning.




It did'nt go well.

I did the exact same thing with my Futur, managed to grab the cut quickly and it knitted together quite quickly. At least it was a new Feather so it was a sharp cut.

I have not made that mistake again, I always adjust the Futur with the head resting against a flat surface and fingers behind the buisness end.

am I the only guy that can adjust his futur one-handed with wet hands???

Just grip the shaft (easy!) and push on either side of the safety bar with your thumb!

The only time I've cut myself bad was when dropping a small travel gillette while in the shower and catching it!
