Trevor how do you like your SOC? I used to own one and I’m seriously considering getting one for DecemBoar.
I love it. I’m a fan of boar brushes in general, but the density of the SOC sets it apart. AP Shave carries Semogue knots now and he has several SOC boars that look quite appealing.Trevor how do you like your SOC? I used to own one and I’m seriously considering getting one for DecemBoar.
Agreed. A 26.5 mm Connaught Omega Jade, a 26.5 mm Semogue Pegasus, or a 27 mm Zenith 507 would be insulted. You can all throw stones at me if you want, but 27mm is not a medium diameter brush for me.
27 are the big Omegas (and the Proraso) for professional use that the barbers in Italy use. Would agree 25-26 is still 'medium', but not the 27.Agreed. A 26.5 mm Connaught Omega Jade, a 26.5 mm Semogue Pegasus, or a 27 mm Zenith 507 would be insulted.
Anything over 25-26 mm is big, in my opinion.
I would agree, Especially the pro Omegas. There can be a little room for interpretation with some knots, though. I haven’t used all sizes of the G5C, but the 22 feels more like a 24 in practice to me.27 are the big Omegas (and the Proraso) for professional use that the barbers in Italy use. I love these pics of your SOC boars. I only have the Cherry, but I want all of them.
Thankfully your awesome SOC Boars are well within the Medium Brush guidelines.Agreed. A 26.5 mm Connaught Omega Jade, a 26.5 mm Semogue Pegasus, or a 27 mm Zenith 507 would be insulted.
