Liveben aluminum DE & GEM razors

I just came across this new DE & GEM razors from Liveben. I’ve looked whether I can find some info about it on B&B but wasn’t successful. It seems to be a new razor since the earliest product reviews on Taobao are from the beginning of November 2024. Sales statistics show that 31 razors have been sold so far. The handles look very similar to Shield handles, it could be that those razors are rebranded Shield.

The DE head has to following specs:

Weight: 10g
Gap: 0.95 mm
Exposure: 0.05 mm

The GEM specs are:

Weight: 9g
Gap: 1.15 mm
Exposure: 0.12 mm

The GEM plate has “LIVEBEN” engraved on the underside (as seen in one of the product review pictures). The DE plate doesn’t have any markings.

Price for DE or GEM razors is USD 27 (that’s the price for Mainland China, AE prices will probably be higher). Even though one picture of a stand is included in the product description, the stand can’t be ordered.

Looks like a Shield razor. At USD 27, that is a bargain!

LIVEBEN was also printed under the baseplate of several Yintal stainless steel razors, I personally got only one of them, but can confirm that they were LIVEBEN and not Yintal branded.

I have to agree with @Dark Stag that they look suspiciously much like Shield razors, IMG 8474 looks absolutely like my Boti Shield razor (except that it seems to be a GEM and not a DE), except that it isn't polished, but beadblasted, which is the usual standard finish for Shield. Also the stand type in IMG 8470 is exactly the same as used by Boti, so I would say they are indeed razors made by Shield.

I was under the impression LIVEBEN is a brand name used for Australia and Oceania outside of China, but several Aussies I asked never heard about them.

I have some bowls and razors marked Liveben. I had assumed they were the OEM and the alix retailers like yintal and shield were the private labels.
