Literary Aftershaves

I didn't really wear a scent as a young man until I was inspired by Robert B. Parker's Spenser, who occasionally splashed on some Clubman, usually when he was going out on a date with Susan Silverman. Being single, living in Boston, and also desiring a date with Susan Silverman (or any woman, really), I began wearing Clubman like my hero Spenser.

Can't say that it worked all that well, except I've now been married 34 years and Clubman remains my go-to.

I was thinking about this, and it got me to wondering what scents other fictional characters would be wearing. Here's my list so far:

Nero Wolfe's man-about-town, Archie Goodwin: Lilac Vegetal.

Hunter S. Thompson (I know, not really fictional. Just kinda): Jovan Musk. By the gallon.

Harry Dresden: Axe.

That's all I got so far. What additions would you make to the list?

Nick Carraway: Aqua Velva

Captain Ahab: Michelson's Bay Rum

Atticus Finch (pardon the anachronism - ) Tabac

Nero Wolfe: Knize Ten

I go back and forth between if Don Draper would be rocking AV or Clubman.

Ron Burgundy would either do Jovan Musk or English Leather.

Sherlock Holmes would probably have the full range of Penhaligons.
