List of rebranded Yaqi brushes sold under different names

Last year i was visiting a beauty expo in china, i come across the Yaqi booth, i paid them a visit, we talked about the brushes business, the materials, the different qualities, the cost, the world market, their customers, their new upcoming products,...etc

Anyway, i leaned they produce brushes for many brands, i couldn't get all the brands name, they show me some models they are working on and can see the brand logos they put on.

Here are some brands that are produced by Yaqi:

Razorock
Phoenix (Artisan) shaving
Goodfellas
Fendrihan
Perfecto
Oneblade
Dawey
Kurt
Omega
Haircut & Shave co.
The Yorkshire Soap co.
Stirling Soap co.

I will add more brands when i get to know more

And i was astonished when i saw how much some brushes are sold for, one brand (i can't name) sale their brushes at 5000% markup, yes 50 times the purchase price, i let you guess which brand (its on the list)

Do you know other brand brushes that are a rebranded Yaqi brush? post the name on this thread.

I wasn't expecting to see omega on that list!!

It's a far older company than Yaqi and omega have previously confirmed they harvest domestic pig hair for their brushes.

I wonder if Yaqi are producing omega's synthetic line of brushes 🤔

Engraved logo Omega brushes are effectively made in Italy, brushes with sticker logo and those with printed logo are made by Yaqi, they can't import brushes from china with "made in italy" engraved on them, so they put the sticker in-house.

Other accessories (bowls, alum stick, stand, holders...etc) that only have "Omega" logo without "Made in Italy" are also made in china, of course by another company than Yaqi

If I understand you correctly, you are claiming that non engraved Omega brushes are made in China and then have a 'Made In Italy' sticker affixed to them after they are imported from China to Italy. That is disappointing if true, although these days I doubt the veracity of claims made by all large volume brush brands. If Omega are that happy to mislead their customers then they may as well have the engraved brushes made in China as well, or declare them hand made in the Isle Of Man. Perhaps I misunderstand.

I don't know how they do it, there were many Omega brushes there, most of the "Hog bristle" line if not all. few with the logo printed on them, it was really bad quality printing, as bad as the ones you find on the Omega official website, and the rest with no markings. Maybe they opted for the sticker instead cause they don't want pay for the good quality print or because of the "made in italy" issue, i don't know.
Omega and Kurt were the worse quality brushes there.

I read in a previous post Richman shaving were also doing this

I do not even think this is totally legal to put a Made in Italy sticker on a brush manufactured in China.

I think that's debatable.

A watch, with a case, movement and strap made in China, then inspected and put together in Switzerland can be labelled Swiss Made...

What's the source for this?

It's not impossible, but I find it hugely unlikely. I have four unused Omega models still in their boxes in a drawer next to my computer. All of them say "Made in Italy" prominently on both the box and brush.

Unless I can see some more substantial evidence, I'm afraid I am calling 🐂💩 on this one.

As Omega themselves say on their website - beware of counterfeit goods!
