LaToja sensitive shave cream

I have an old tube and the light pleasant smell it used to have now has a distinct unpleasant smell of rubber in the background. The cream still looks OK as I squeeze it out, though seems to have air pockets (maybe dried out a bit). However the performance is still good.
Maybe it has simply gone off a bit, anyone had similar experience?

I'm thinking of ditching it, life's too short and their shave stick still performs (and smells) great.

I've never had that issue. I really like this cream. It is too bad the new owners decided to stop making it.

I like it too, but at least we still have the shave stick.
