I have a couple of the copper bowls and really like them. I was perusing his website the other day and spotted the brass bowl and was immediately smitten. Love it.

Just needs a brass La Faulx to go with it now
I didn't notice that bronze is more expensive than titanium.... I have a premium polish bronze with the OEM handle and stand.... but I added a stainless steel basic polish La Faulx head a while back for a travel razor.. and use it with a Timeless Ti Crown handle... It's a wonderful match for me..... Both of mine are Classics... though I was loaned a + base plate to try by a member here.... I didn't need that extra efficiency... I can get the same results using a Feather ProSuper blade and it's still smoother than silk for me. I don't use the ProSupers much as I prefer the Kai guarded and unguarded blades.
I'd ask Augustin about brass, however I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to streamline his options. Has the price of bronze changed recently?

About 5 days. I was getting a bit concerned and decided to email them. It looks like they follow some sort of manufacturing schedule, which, makes sense given the craftsmanship he aims for with his razors. Estimated arrival date is early next week.
5 days is very quick considering the razors are usually made to order. When I almost bought the La Faulx last December, I was informed it would be 7 weeks at least. They might have increased their production and scaled up around the same time they revamped their website.
Wow. 5 days must be some kind of record. I ordered during Black Friday and waited 9 weeks before the razors shipped.
Even outside of the sale period, waiting time is about 7 weeks as stated on their previous site. Now that its a shorter waiting period, I might be more inclined to purchase me a La Faulx!
I knew it would be slower and had no problem with that. Absolutely worth the wait. Remarkable razors.

That's odd. I'm not entirely sure how I managed to (almost) get one so soon. I suppose we'll see what shows up next week. It wouldn't hurt to email him and ask for an ETA.
