Up today is this Echo 372. Echo seem to be a mystery brand, @haggis has one, I believe, but I could find no other information on them. In any case, it is hard steel and a full hollow 13/16 which rings like a bell when honing, stropping and shaving. The scales are very nice, a step above the usual utilitarian acrylic.

Orihi or ‘gutter’ type kamisori. The set has an interesting history, it was brought back from Peleliu by a Marine in WW2. His grandson was selling off some of his things on eBay and I got to chatting with him. I toyed with the idea oftrying to reptriate the set to the undoubtedly fallen soldier and asked where on Peleliu they were found, but he said that his grandfather would not talk about Peleliu. It’s also possible that they belonged to a foreign conscript I suppose.
There are 3 razors and a slurry stone in the top compartment and a hone in the bottom.
The mighty Starlet 3057 from Itou Co, Tokyo. A few people have this on here and it's easy to see why. It's a beefy quarter hollow, takes a marvellous edge and shaves like a dream.
Hi guys. Didn't know I'd be matching up with @sanookd when I chose my razor this morning, but happy to share his good taste in hardware ...
This razor is just so consistently smooth and drama-free. A keen edge, but comfortable, and seems to stay that way through 4 passes. Just a wonderful razor, all around.
This is the only Japanese razor in my collection so far. It was the second razor I ever bought. It had a fair bit of rust which I sanded back as much as I thought I could get away with, then got what feels like the sharpest edge of any of my razors thanks to @Mr Bedlington.
