What's new

It didn't even feel like I was shaving.

This morning I think I may have accidentally performed a perfect pre-shave and lathering technique. When it was time to put razor to face I didn't feel a thing. It felt like I had forgotten to put the blade in the razor. My face has never been so happy after a shave. :001_tt1: It did take almost 15 minutes of prep, not including the shower. I will be forever attempting to re-create the experience.

Seems like you have found your ticket.

I find that prep and actual shaving time are about equal for me.

I'm trying to recall the water temperatures and amounts of time I spent with the pre-shave cream and pre-shave lather on my face. Did I rinse off the cream? I can't recall exactly because I wasn't paying great attention. I was cleaning up my shaving gear and washing the sink while I had this stuff on my face. 15 minutes is an approximation for prep, but the shave took less than 4 minutes it was so smooth. I wish I had payed more attention at the time.

Glad I don't have to worry about all those nuances; I just shower, hydrate my face, and face lather with cold water.

The good news: you got a great shave--CONGRATS!!

The bad news: you're going to be chasing that feeling for the rest of your life--good luck!
