What's new

I'm done with IE

I havn't used Internet Explorer since Firefox was in beta and called Firebird.

Actually, i remember when it was called Phoenix.
Haha, totally.
And before then I was using the straight Mozilla browser (before it was 1.0 status, even) solely because it could block popups internally. It was such a relief at the time. Now I don't even know what a pop-up is.

Firefox rules. Firebird is now Firefox's Calendar program. Thunderbird is their e-mail client (which is a wonderfully better interface then what you have to use in most cable e-mail set-ups).

All three of these programs can be downloaded free, BTW.
Not to nitpick (too much ) but the calendar project is called Sunbird. Another open-source project has the Firebird name, which is why the team eventually settled on calling the browser Firefox as the final project name.

If you have a jumpdrive, you can load up FF portable and take your browser with you. Even on a work machine.

I'm seriously thinking about it... I would have my bookmarks with me all the time and at least browse the web like I want!
