so what do you do with your junk colognes like pictured? i hope not just toss them, many including myself would give their eye teeth for stuff like that.

I bought a load of frags in January Blade_Runner37C - the vast majority were too young, sweet and unisex so I thought laterally - I layered them with older scents and a mixture of real Oud, wood, herbal, floral and resin real essential oils and got a load of synthetic fragrances and they totally transformed them from dullsville - "Me Too" lowest common denominator scents to exotic, unique powerhouse frags.
Most people don't have essential oils and synthetic fragrances to "breathe-on" modern frags plus lots of vintage scents to layer and blend and just chuck the bottle or give them away - I don't need to - there was a way around them to customise them.
It's a pain and a pleasure putting 3-25 scents on top of a modern off-the-shelf bottle but it's fun and got me loads of compliments - and the start of some commissions - like my recent Dragon's Blood and Jo Malone dupes.
Plus I met a perfumer on ebay by accident and gave him a big bespoke commission - he drove forty miles to drop them off and now we are friends; we cross-pollinate with frag swapping and blending haha !

Oh dear it's Stateside - The UK taxman with the 20% VAT and customs and excise duty will crucify me - 20%-40% on top haha - oh well - nevermind - it's worth it.

Got this bespoke - it's gorgeous but I have no idea what's in it - the perfumer won't tell me - trade secret lol !
He is stationed in Thailand, where his loyal henchmen are searching for oud trees in the dense forests and extracting magic drops of oil from them using technology controlled by him. I ordered a probe in a microscopic ampoule from him, it exudes a divine fragrance!

Yep the best oud is very powerful; especially Quadeem (old vintage) ouds.
Modern European and M.E. frag houses have got on the gravy train and call everything oud - even if there isn't a drop in it !
The Asians and Arabians have been doing perfume 20-40 times longer than the Europeans and Americans - they'll never catch up because they haven't got the experience or access to secret oud glades for example - money can't buy everything hehe !
When i was a successful sales exec I got right into Sheik Culture and oud, amber, ambergris and natural musk in Egypt and the Gulf - now I'm retired i can't afford it but i can still dream and window shop haha !
