I converted another one (I hope)

I was talking about shave gear with a friend of mine here in Nashville a while back.

He was using carts and expressed interest in switching to DE. I gave him a 1960 Gillette Super Speed, a Proraso brush, A tube of Musgo Real Classic Scent, a Timeless shave bowl, a variety of blades from my stash to get him started and gave him a few tips.

He recently told me he hasn't touched carts since and didn't know shaving could be this enjoyable. Anyway, I hope he sticks with it.

Saw an old girlfriend the other week that I've not seen for 3-4 years and she noticed the two razor racks and that I look groomed and smell nice and she says she uses various lady cartridges that are expensive, uncomfortable and don't work so I gave her a new unused brush, some French Rose soap and a black plastic Wilkinson Sword complete with ten of their blades with a few tips and gentle encouragement - I said she's got nothing to lose and she decided to give a safety a go and she said Thanks.

She rang me up a few days later to say she has never had such a comfortable smooth close shave and she's given all the unused Gillette Venus and Bic Soleil razors to her friends and she's loving it - so a great result !
