What's new

How many Soaps did you buy because Artwork.

None, or wait, maybe an Arko stick.
I definitely bought Arko for the artwork. The label screamed masculine tradition, and at a price I would pay for a sample.

I think people are missing the fact that if they avoided anything because of graphic design, and went and bought something else with a design they preferred, whether it was a bad craft show label or MdC, the designs still guided their decision.

Certainly if you don't have anything with a big artistic expression among your twenty soaps, then you were guided by artwork and design.

A few. But the only ones that I can remember at the moment:

I would never buy a soap off of artwork alone. I'd make sure it's a quality product first and consider nice labeling a bonus. With that in mind, how can you not love this label?

I would. I plan to put a few Stirling samples inside, but this is the container my little brother will receive from me this Xmas. I'll keep the soap for myself. I really like the k2e base, and it's hard to imagine an aquatic being anything but inoffensive.

Only one bought for the label. RazoRock Plague Doctor bought at the start of covid, and it performed so well it's a favorite with any brush. Easy to lather and a good performer. A light soapy scent may be its only downside for those favor scent, but fine for those of us who don't. I didn't like the aftershave and gave that bottle to my barber for display. Looks like the soap is now half price. I have several tubs on hand, but may have to order more at that price.
