Hi, I’m introducing myself
I’m 48 years old and have been wet shaving for 10 years.
I started using a DE razor out of curiosity, and it ended up solving my irritation issues. In the beginning, wet shaving was economical for me, but lurking in shaving forums sparked my interest and led me to buy razors in search of the perfect one.
Over the years, I’ve owned more than 30 razors, but I’ve come to realize that searching for the perfect razor is like chasing gold at the end of the rainbow. My reluctance to build a large collection has made me more mindful when acquiring new razors.
I’m now set with a Timeless .95 (with an extra .68 plate) and an R41.
Currently, I use two soaps: MdC and a stick of Speick. My favorite aftershave is also from Speick.
As for brushes, I’m satisfied with a synthetic one made by Mühle. Since I face lather, a 21mm knot works perfectly for me.
I’m glad to be joining Badger & Blade!
Greetings from Switzerland.
