Trash, and money is no object. Would never ever ever. Drug dealers watch.

Yeah, I like the reverso as well, but again, it is a specific piece to wear the 6 or so times I go to a charity event and wear a tux. Technically, you shouldn't even wear a watch with evening formal wear, but I feel naked without one, so looking for the least number of complications. Probably going to go with the B&M since it has no date.JLC Reverso is nice.
So if you take the question in context, I want to buy a watch to wear with a tuxedo the roughly six times a year I wear one. I am literally buying a watch to match an outfit. The only Rolex that would fit remotely is a Cellini, if that. No President, or Datejust, or Rolex Sports watch would work. As for the Richard Mille, I can appreciate a watch maker that has managed to dupe people into spending in some instances upwards of a million dollars for an Invicta/Ed Hardy designed watch with a horological history of literally a blink of an eye. Founded 2001. They are ugly. They do not fit what I am going for aesthetically.Your statement is bogus, many people with money collect Hi dollar Watch he's, having seen this watch on gentleman I know. He is a successful businessman. This watch in question is unique, but IMHO if I had the money to buy. I would go with a Real Rolex Day Date Special.
Nah. It's a cashed up soccer player or MMA fighter watch. To match their pink Lamborghini. As they say, the one thing you cannot buy is taste.Trash, and money is no object. Would never ever ever. Drug dealers watch.

I like the B&M the best of the 3 photos for your situation, mostly because it does not have blued hands.Yeah, I like the reverso as well, but again, it is a specific piece to wear the 6 or so times I go to a charity event and wear a tux. Steel bracelet is not really appropriate for formal wear.I like the B&M the best of the 3 photos for your situation, mostly because it does not have blued hands.
But if this is going to be an occasional watch, why not stick with the Tank Francaise you already have?
I actually enjoy it. The most dressed I get for work is a sports coat and jeans. I do like the occasional formal event though.I think Richard Mille Wartchesm, are like William Henry Pocket Knives. Functional art, but not real practical.
As for wearing a Tuxedo, that to me is dressing up to a point I want zero to do with. Think the last time I wore a Jacket & Tie was over 50 years ago.
I dress very casual, and was fortunate to be about to make a good living in blue jeans, a color t-shirt, and running shoes. Getting dressed up was a Hawaiian Type Shirt from LLBean.
For occasional wear and a budget of 1.5-2k I would go for a manual wind vintage for your Tux. Totally by the books in 18k but I wouldn’t be dogmatic about it.Trying to decide on a tank to wear with my tux. Was thinking about a Cartier Tank Must, but I already have a Tank Francaise, so was thinking of either a B&M or a Longines. Which of these would y'all suggest, and what do you know of the brands?
