Help identifying pen

I was given a pen by a friends father. All I know for sure is that it is a cross pen. He had it in storage for a couple years. He was moving and found it. Still had a dried up ink cartridge in it. I think the nib is a fine.

Can anyone help me identify it? I google it and maybe it’s a Calais matte green and black. I’ll try to get a better picture of the nib when I get home.

Going to clean it up and buy a converter for it. Does anyone know are all cross converters the same or which to buy?

Looks about right, you nailed it! Looks nice.

There are a couple different ones, I have an older pen (Townsend) that takes a standard push-in "international" cartridge style but I read there is a proprietary screw in one for later pens. Check with Cross if you don't have something already to compare to.

I remember fondly the graduation gift of a silver colored Cross ballpoint I received after high school.
