I've just bought this blind based on the comments on basenotes and the fact that it was a decent sale price.

The only three other colognes I own are Rive Gauche por homme, Old Spice and ToBS Shaving Shop.

I hope I chose wisely

It is a classic 80s powerhouse. To me, it smells similar to Caron's Yatagan.

I remember sniffing this one back in the early 90s, but I don't remember much about it. I went home with Polo Crest instead.

Red has quite some strength, but I don't rate it as a powerhouse. The original Giorgio is the powerhouse.
