Jovial January - I made this commission for a dear friend ; it needs decanting into a vintage perfume bottle but
it came out better than expected - she will love it.
Just made 3 x 30ml.
It is very unusual because Egyptian Blue Lotus is hardly used outside the Middle East and North Africa ; also it's very expensive and rare.
Blue Lotus is a notorious aphrodisiac and very soporific ; it can induce mild hallucinations and vivid dreams.
It has more projection than the majority of Western flowers; it's like a very strong Violet but more exotic.
There is not that many florals that are as powerful base notes as this - it lasts for 3-4 days with one application.
Made with Oud, Frankincense, Myrrh, Ginger, Heliotrope, Rose Otto, Sumatran Vetiver, Petitgrain, Bergamot, Egyptian Blue Iris, Carnation, White Sage, Civet, Tuscan Lime and Rose Geranium.
