ATTARS AND OUD OILS.jpg

I wore the blue Oud undiluted alcohol free attar (fourth from the left) today.
OUD KHAIL MALKI - 2016 QADEEM OUD.jpg

I have some more Ouds coming next week - hooray !

I love Vintage 1990's aftershaves and especially Arabian and Middle Eastern Ouds and Musks - undiluted perfume attars - so much much stronger than colognes or aftershaves.

The dark four on the right are Qadeem Cambodian Vintage Ouds which make Tom Ford and Creed Colognes look unsophisticated in comparison - much rarer and more complex ; matured for twenty five years.

The Arabians invented perfume thousands of years ago so they should have got the hang of it by now!

The one with the white top is Oud essential oil - I'm a herbalist.

For 50 year old Ouds you are looking at $2800 per ml so a 100ml bottle is $280000.00 ! for Sheiks and bread-heads lol !

Swiss Arabian are amazing as you already know ksblazer - you must be a connoisseur; I must get some more - got Dirham Oud 100ML mens perfume by Ard Al Zaafaran Oriental Musky Sandalwood EDP on way and also Rasasi Faqat Lil Rijal Rasasi Faqat Lil Rijal 50 ml EDP Cologne - they are both heavyweights for projection and sillage haha!
Your posting about these oud scents have gotten my attention. I have always liked oud scents when I smelled them in stores. But didn’t know what I was smelling at the time or where to sample or buy it locally.

Now I have been going on line and learning more about it and making a few purchases.

Have a few more bottles of different oud’s that I’m waiting to be delivered. Looking forward to trying them out soon.

I can’t say that I don’t like any that I have tried.

Enjoying the journey so far.

Oh lovely ksblazer - Ouds, Musks, Ambers, Ambergris and attars are an exploration and an endless journey of discovery - my advice is to go to your local Asian and Middle Eastern market and have a smell of the fragrances - bringing a friend along who can speak Arabic helps enormously too and will definitely be an enjoyable eye-opener for you and at such bazaars bargains and haggling are fun and often cheaper than online !

Even a Turkish or Asian or Middle Eastern barber or trader can help point you in the right direction buddy.

Believe it or not Ouds have even got me long-term lucrative contracts, friends, musicians and even a few girlfriends - first impressions count !
