I think it's a brilliant barbershop scent. My only regret is the scent fades quickly for me, even for an aftershave.

To me, Floid - The Genuine, is a classic barbershop scent. What that means to me is it's a clean, masculine scent that I can imagine being applied by a barber following a straight razor shave. It reminds me of barbershops when I was a kid. That is opposed to, let's say, a modern, trendy men's cologne from a designer fragrance house.

I bought a 400ml bottle of The Genuine from a Spanish seller on eBay. Italian bottle shipped from Spain. I want to say it was about $30 + $6 shipping. Took four weeks to arrive. Gorgeous bottle! I’m not a fan at this point but I’ve kept it, hoping it will grow on me. I can’t begin to identify the notes in it. I’ve read them and it’s just not what my nose smells. I like 4711 aftershave best right now. The scent doesn’t stick with me but it’s nice.
