I will already be participating in the one blade challenge. So, I figured why not go a whole month with the same setup. I mean 1 razor, 1 blade, 1 soap, 1 brush, and 1 aftershave for the whole month of February. Feel free to join me. I encourage you to post about it here.

Tempted. This would probably nicely kill a lingering tub of soap.
So, like a normal person who isn't an enthusiast. Fascinating. If you kill a soap or aftershave, are you allowed to move to the next one?

Exactly, just the way our fathers and grandfather did it.
And yes, if you run out of an item you can move on to the next.
Is it ok to change the blade if it gets dull for one of the same kind.
I've been downsizing for about a year now. I'll let you in on a little secret. If you're unsure about a particular item, using it for a month straight is a sure way to know if you really love it. Because if not, you'll probably hate it after a month of daily shaves with no other variety.

Absolutely, but I will try to make my feather blade last all month.
Happy days I'll try and time my blade change for the challenge.
Works for me. Now to figure whether this is pre-gaming FFFMM or FFFMM is keeping the Fixed February buzz going…
After DecemBOAR and BADGERary I'm dying to get back to my Synthetic rotation. I was thinking about doing something like a FRUGAL February - low cost or no cost (won or gifted) items all month. But your FIXED February sounds interesting.

I just purchased the King C Gillette yesterday on clearance at Walgreens for $10. I wasn't expecting much. But I have been pleasantly surprised. It produces a very nice shave.
I tried this setup today - the Razor was about $8 on Ali Ex - the brush I won - the Soap I won - the PAA aftershave was a throw in with a Razor purchase. So with a few blades the whole gear was under $10. Frugal/Fixed February here we come.
I just won a Synthetic brush on Shave Dad Group so I would sub that in for the Badger.

Nice stup there. The more I do this, the more I realize that you can definitely get a good shave for not a lot of money.
I'm sure someone has done it with an older production blade... will be interesting to see if a Feather would hold out.

Yeah, I'm a little worried for my face. Normally the first shave with a feather is like using a lightsaber, then 2-3 more decent shaves, them it starts yanking my beard from the roots.
Feather is not a long lasting blade in my opine. I'd give a Nacet a try if I was a betting man. Old Sugar Daddy took one to 350 shaves on YT. Or the longest lasting blade I ever encountered was my vintage Personna 74. Next best was my vintage Wilkinson Sword Super Sword Edge. If you have never shaved with a good vintage blade then seek some out.
