First shave with Edwin Jagger 3one6

I have a 3one6 and love it. The material, the workmanship, the shave couldn't be much better. Awesome razor. But then I haven't tried a $500 razor yet.

I agree with you - the 3ONE6 does not seem to be picky with regard to your choice of blade. So far I have used Personna Israeli Red, Gillette Platinum, Gillette Nacet and Feather blades. All provided excellent shaves. I think I prefer the Feather and Nacet blades, but that may be only because those are the ones I've used most recently.

I can add Voshkod and Gillette Silver Blues to the list. Fabulous razor.

To my chagrin I did try one $300 razor. It really didn't shave any better. This and my Gamechanger .84 Open Comb are all that I need.

I have tried at least 6 different blades in my 3one6 and all have performed great. I'm glad it works well with my favorites.....it's a great razor. My Henson is the same. Haven't found a blade that doesn't work well for me. Can't say this about some of my other razors.
