I'm not sure that it can be believed, but it gives me something to look forward to!! I'm pretty sure that this and those like it will become my go to razors for the foreseeable future. Just a comfortable shave, during and after. Is there something I can apply to my face to stimulate beard growth??

Well by golly you were right. Used the GEM for the 3rd time this morning and I got the closest shave in months!. I'm sure some of that is learning to use this beautiful razor, but it sure seemed to cut nice. How many shaves are normal for these blades?

I love my GEM and feel bad for my new birth year Super Adjustable that just hangs there and looks at me like, "hey man...I was your first razor...what's up with that?".

Well, I tend to swap out the blade after about 7 shaves, sometimes a little sooner, but some here get many more shaves than that. It's part technique, part beard, and maybe part something else. My beard is very hard on blades, so I tend toward the lower end. Also, hand stropping can smooth out the blade for a shave or two more. And yes, that means stropping the blade on the heel of your hand.
