Ever-Ready Brush Restoration

This is a quick restoration I did of vintage Ever-Ready 300L shaving brush. I picked this up on eBay for a few bucks. I used a Silvertip Grade A badger knot from The Golden Nib.

Here are the after shots. I want to let the epoxy completely cure before using but I'm really looking forward to giving it a try.

Great shave this morning with the Ever-Ready brush, my Gillette Slim and A&E Signature soap. Amazing how much faster this builds lather compared to my synthetic brushes.

What size knot did you use?

It’s a 22mm. The original socket was a smidge over 23mm
