eBook Readers -- I like mine

I purchased the Mrs's a Kindle DX for her B-day. She is not a computer savvy person, and has some difficulty finding a good site for books. Is there a site that anyone can refer me to, so I can get her set up? Do they have a "book club" for e-books?
TIA for any links, info that I can forward to the Mrs's.

Ok, got it, and will check it out.... I guess the biggest problem she is having is getting the book on to her kindle. (not sure from where?)
Now I have not spent any time looking into this, and it appears that I might have to here in the near future. Is there a software program that needs to be installed on my PC to "bridge" the ability to load her kindle via the usb port?
I do know it is wireless capable, and she should be able to download any book via the net, provided it's available...and paid for.
Sorry for my ignorance...I honestly have no idea how to use the thing...as I am not a reader.
