I know what you mean about canvas and leather. A company called Frost River out of Duluth, MN specializes in waxed canvas jackets and luggage. I've been using a Frost River canvas and leather Dopp kit for several years. I love it. I'll post a pic first chance I get.

My wife has one of those and hogs the hotel bath hook with hers already!

Ha ha, I’m usually where there’s a mirror so I left the film in place to protect the mirror until when or if it’s needed!
I got this one from Tommy Bahama some years ago. I like the leather and canvas combination as well. They seem to change up their offerings quite a bit and sadly this one is no longer available. Glad I found it when I did.
