Dogs <face palm!>

Beautiful dogs, everyone.

This is Shelby. She's a Beagle/Blue Tick mix, and we just got her a week ago - she's now 7 weeks old. No matter how many expensive toys I buy her, her favorite chewtoy is still my fingers. I guess it's just a puppy thing.

Lots of great looking dogs here. My wife has a Miniature Dachshund but we had to leave her with family (the dog not the wife) when we moved to Japan. After a four year tour here I don't expect they'll be willing to part with her. I'm prepping my wife. My hope is to get a pair of Miniature English Bulldogs when we get back to the states.

My dog is a Jack Russell and he is awesome. He drives my wife and I crazy half the time but we still love him. What do you think that face in the second picture is saying?

We have a little black pug that we just rescued from a neglectful home a couple of weeks ago. He's Monty. We've also got another pug puppy on the way. He'll be ready to leave his Mum next Sunday. He will be Winston. We've had pugs for a while now. Great little dogs. Our last pug that passed away in Novemeber was called Waldo. He was a fantastic dog. He just loved being with people.

This is Monty.

The family dogs, two West Highland White Terriers.
They're awesome! Best nappers I know.

I have always wanted a Westie.... I think they are the best looking dogs. Trouble is one of my greys is not small dog safe, especially white fluffy small dogs.

When the time is right, you need to have one!

They are endlessly friendly, and have never given us a fuss.... Great personalities too.

The only thing my dog eats that I find strange is butter. He has eaten entire sticks of butter.
Sue

 My cat, Daisy, will hollow out whole sticks of butter if we don't keep an eye out on her. She's also been known to tunnel out whole loaves of French bread. Whenever I think my dog's couldn't be any naughtier, I think about what my cat's capable of and then the dogs' indiscretions somehow don't seem so bad.

I grew up with English Bulldogs...an absolutely wonderful breed.

Tons of great pictures in this thread, all dogs are great! But I have soft spot for German Shepherds.

My own B&B as in Buford and Bella. Buford is my male black and tan. Bella is my female jet black.

Buford once ate some bakers chocolate. Yes, very bad for dogs. After a frantic call to the vet, I was informed that I needed to induce him to vomit. This consisted of shooting hydrogen peroxide down his throat, with a turkey baster until he threw up. Now, Buford trusts me to do anything to him but, just imagine trying to give a 96 pound dog a second dose of something he did not like at all. I did get another dose administered, he did vomit, no ill effects. Dumb damn dogs. However I would not trade either of them for anyhting.

This is a great thread!

We got this little girl at one year old. She was bounced from kennel to kennel, and basically forgotten. I was offered her by a friend. She's been with us now almost six years, and she's very happy...

My constant companion...

Beautiful dogs everybody! I will always have a dog (or 2 or 3). Here are ours, all adopted. We will probably also be adding a Boston Terrier soon.

I have a brown miniature poodle. Generally a quiet dog, except when I tell her "No". Then she tells me off. Almost 7 years old now, her days of chewing socks, towels, etc are behind her. She used to eat tissues, but now just shreds them.
Here's a photo of her participating in flyball and one sporting a new bandana after grooming.
