Ask me about shaving naked!
I’ve tried to avoid this thread, lol, but the answer is both yes and no.

Stirling does a lot of fragrance ‘dupes’, and for the most part does them quite well. They are both (too) strongly scented and not strong enough for other scents. IOW, they make something for everyone, but not everything for everyone. For example, if I shave with Tabac, I can smell it for days in my house, days in my brush, which interferes with other scents. But people love this.

Are the Stirling scents cheap? Well kind of but not really. If you compare them to Acqua di Parma, Creed Bois de Portugal, Chanel Blue, yes you can tell that the high dollar fragrances are better.

Stirling does an excellent job, both in soap base and fragrance, and at the PRICE POINT, you cannot go wrong.

To pile onto what @Steve56 said, Stirling sells soap in a lot of scents. I do wonder if by "cheap" you mean "synthetic". You should consider reviewing the Scent Descriptions page for scents made from essential oils and try a few samples - great way to try different scents. For example, Scots Pine Sheep does not smell cheap to my nose.
