Disapointing experience with a new barber shop

I liked Salons twenty years ago but now they suck I mean SUCK they don't even do a passable job on my GF's hair. She has her friend cut it now. I love barber shops myself. My problem is that I live near a street that has 15 of them.. 12 of those are good.

So to publicly recant my post #17 I will say I just got the best fade cut I have had in over 10yrs by some of those younger guys. I even had a straight razor used along the edges to perfect the lines. When I came home the wife looked me up and down and approved with a smile. That hasn't happened in years from a haircut. I can now proudly say I have a barber and have exited great clips land:):)

I miss my old barber, Tony. He passed last year at age 94. Cut hair until he hit 92, including trim with a shavette. Not to worry, though. His son, Joe (age 70 or so) is also a barber. Joe (like Tony before him) doesn't work Mondays. But cheating is not an option, even when he takes March off.

Sorry about your bad experience. I've moved a bunch over the years. Once a good new barber is found, I stick with him (usually is a him).
