Dignity and the Wet shave

For today's Bonanza shave with the 7'Oclock Black, I went with an Overlander and a Chiseled Face Legacy. What a lovely pair of razors - and a great matchup for the Black Ninja. Both shaves were nice and close, with 1.5 passes to BBS- goodness. I went with a lovely ShaveMac 2-band brush and some Batch 4 Soap. Cleaned up with a bit of SV Felce EDP. Lovely way to start the day.

I am expecting a nice shipment of future NOS Lab Blues later today. Not in @helicopter Dan's league, but enough...

Wow! I didn't think it was considered lost this early in the game. Mine sat that way and eventually started moving and ended up here!
Happened last year as well when I ordered the aluminum one!

Not a great day for me in the acquisition department. I received 10 boxes of Lab Blues from "Iconic Barber Supplies".

Well, Iconic Barber Supplies obviously doesn't understand what barbers do with their supplies. It didn't occur to them when they shipped the blades that the whole point of the blade is well, the point. They threw the 10 boxes in a single oversized and thinly lightly padded envelope and shipped them out. God only knows how many times each box got slammed against something hard on its journey to me, but when I opened the envelope, every single box was dinged:

I had one arrive like that from Pasteur once. I took them all out of the box and checked every corner of every blade and luckily they were fine. You can do that or send them back for a refund. Or an exchange if they promise to package them correctly on the next shipment.
