A wonderful introduction and even better background story- thank you for sharing it. 
It's great to see more women appearing here. I keep prompting my wife, who is "DE-interested", to join in and a larger female contingent would make it a bit easier, methinks.

ha! If you'd like... I use the older shorter 1948-1950 Gillette TTO... I LOVE IT! (Nicked my ankle/tendon area this morning... my email alert sound distracted me... (Bummer) but? it didn't bleed for too long... Its all good...
I've tried the Blue Lady DE... It was my sisters... I have no idea what ever happened to that unit... I wonder if she has it packed away somewhere, or if she's using it... I'll have to find out... eh..eh..eh..
