Bulldog handles

Frugal won out, and the Weber handle is enroute. Thank you all for your input; it is always helpful and welcome.

The original Bulldog is indeed a work of superb craftsmanship, but the cost is prohibitive to me. SWMBO is tolerant, but that purchase would set her head spinning, and there would be no need for me to ever shave again. :scared:

There are something that the wife simply does not need to concern herself with....I worked hard and made lots of money while I was married...what I spent my money on was my concern...as long as I don't take away from the household, but a big house, nice cars, jewelry and clothes and great vacations, she could not complain about my hobbies...( she did turn on eye when I bought a motorcycle and a Porsche...!)

Man up brothers! Don't let the wives control you!!...then again....I'm divorced...so you may not want to take my advice...LOL!

I use a iKon with my R41 and a Weber with my FaTip chrome and the differences mentioned in this thread are spot on. The iKon is a bit more polished and the knurling more refined, the Weber is a bit heavier with a less polished look and the knurling is very sharp, you can really feel it digging into your fingers. Also the iKon will not fit on the FaTip threads which is something to consider for anyone that wants to go that route. All in all I think the Weber is a much better value, especially considering it will work on FaTip's as well as DE89's and R41's. The only reason I even own a iKon is their blemish sale for $35 shipped was an amazing deal, I can't even see the blemish wherever it is.
