Brushless Creams

Kiehl's has two totally brushless creams that are very good for varying skin types. Its very moist and you just dab them on let them sit or put a steam towel on top and shave and rinse. You need a really soaked face to mix with the cream so that it won't clump but they work and they also say you dont need any water at all to use.

+1 - Until I became DE-obsessed, I used to use Kiehl's Ultimate Brushless Shave cream when I traveled with an M3. My traveling hasn't been quite as extensive as before, and I've now transitioned to a TOBS shave stick. But if I had to use a brushless, I'd use the Kiehl's in a heartbeat.

I've also used the L'Occitane Cade cream with a great deal of success as a brushless cream, though I know that folks on this board have been critical of it when used with a brush.

+1 Kiss My Face is good with or without a brush, its available locally at most health food stores and its very inexpensive around $6 for the large 11oz size!

Also, Jack Black Beard Lube is pretty good for a brushless. Cool name to boot.

JBBL is one of those 3-in-1 products, it does triple duty as a pre-shave, shave cream, and after-shave balm. (For something similar at one-third the price, seek out a product called Corganics Smooth Shave Gel. Its available at Vitamin Shoppes for under $5.)

A nice clean, neutral scent, and the samples of JBBL I picked up at Nordstoms gave me a great shave every time.

Just don't be expecting a lot of lather from it, because its not supposed to lather. It goes on with a translucent whitish color, and that makes it very easy to see what you're doing.

When I gave up on canned garbage I first used CO Bigelow brushless cream before getting a brush. This would have been about 15 years ago so I don't know if its still in production but I really liked it at the time.

Just used some 'Blade Runner' by Origins and it did pretty well and I like the aroma. It's a brushless cream and literally can't be lathered by a brush so it won't be worked into my rotation often.

I use KMF with a brush and love it - I can't imagine anything slicker than that stuff!
