Gorgeous looking brushes. I would love to hear how the knots perform.I was very curios about the untreated brushes from from Oumo and today the 2 i ordered have arrived!
Have washed them 2 times and they are ready to use.

I will give a short review after the first use of them! I will compare them with Simpson super badger and Maseto two band is the plan.Gorgeous looking brushes. I would love to hear how the knots perform.
I've had some less expensive badgers that seemed like hair from dogs. I do not know the Benjamin Barber brand and cannot speak to it, although looking at the brush it appears to be a pure badger grade which is the lowest grade hair. You might want to avoid bargains when buying badger.Hi everyone. I was looking around, and trying to avoid opening a new thread for each question, I post it here. In case, there is more suitable existing thread, please inform me to move it.
I bought a shave set (brush, razor n stand) on Black Friday auction
Benjamin Barber Classic 3-delars Rakset Wood - Gillette Mach3 - https://www.gents.se/benjamin-barber-classic-3-delars-rakset-wood-gillette-mach3
The idea was to "upgrade" myself a bit and have one more option for brushes.
I tried the brush 2 times (first time with a new soap, that might have been over-optimistic,
the 2nd time with a regular cream i use - proraso aloe vera) in both casses the brush didn't do a good job.
I left the brush to soak in warm-hot water some 5-10mins during which i shower.
After that I let the water out and start lathering.
The lather was not distributed equally and the brush felt "too weak" and made different shapes,
that it shouldnt. I post photos of my last shave.

It is a badger brush. Am I doing something wrong here, or did someone had similar experience like this?
Thank you for the input. I looked at the set price in total, and it definitely is not a lower end set, Benjamin Barber soo far had good to great products (I think its a Swedish brand), but now when I check again, the brush is indeed at the lower end cost of badgers.I've had some less expensive badgers that seemed like hair from dogs. Looks like a poor quality brush, for the price you paid, you could get a Simpson Set, can you return it?Hi everyone. I was looking around, and trying to avoid opening a new thread for each question, I post it here. In case, there is more suitable existing thread, please inform me to move it.

I have made some poor brush purchases. I have given some away, others I've used for applying talc on my scalp during the summer (bald head, shiny sweat).Thank you for the input. Any suggestion to make some use of it? The company was very fair, they refunded the order, and said I don't have to return the products, just I feel bad to throw it. At least to figure out how to make use for me, or I donate it to someone beginner in this.
Maybe skip or reduce the part with soaking in water? Just run it over the tap and be careful when I add more water to it during lathering?
So it seems, I had higher expectations from it, given the brand and the price tag. The company was very fair, they returned the money immediately and didnt even ask for the product back. That is why I posted here, to double check if i did sth wrong in the process of lathering (whixh is unlikely given that i have tried tons of products) and if sth can be done and some use extracted from it. Definitely will research more before next purchase.Looks like a poor quality brush, for the price you paid, you could get a Simpson Set, can you return it?
