Kent BK12, NOS from the days when Silvertip was labeled as 'Pure Badger' and reportedly that hair is of a legendary quality.

Two Zeniths, one badger one boar, both in tortoiseshell. Ordered from BHS Barber & Hairdressing Supply in Sydney.
They've been carrying Zenith brushes for a while as evidenced by this thread, and I paid not much more than that for my badger.
Looking forward to trying my first badger, I got the boar just because I already have a beech handled Zenith boar and didn't mind a fancier handle.

New Zenith boar for myself as well in the same delivery, a conical coral (nice ring to that), it has a slightly shorter loft than the conical tortoise above.
Love that tortoiseshell.
Used this new Case for the first time today. It has the most badger odor of any Simpson I've tried so far, and shed numerous hairs. Despite that it's a great little knot. It's quite dense and held enough lather for three passes.
I have another Simpson on the way. SBAD is real, gents. You've been warned.
Just in today, 3 band silvertip and a 2 band from Yaqi. Both brushes surpassed my expectations 10 fold, wow. I should've started with these badger brushes instead of getting the shavemac D01 2 band...

yes, they are extremely impressive brushes... I have the Obsidian, but I wouldn't want to part with my D01 2band..
There is really no question about the value or quality of construction and materials.
I am with @Str8_Shaver though. I am not selling off my RV Shaving, Semogue and Simpson brushes to be exclusive with Chinese brushes.

Along with the BK12 'Pure Badger' I had shown in #4,644 came the same brush made many years later. From 2019, the year Kent discontinued Badger hair. At that time they had long switched to name the hair 'Silvertip'.
Here are both now:
The 'Silvertip' has a superminimal glue bump which reduces the effective loft height to 56 mm. Because of the total 60 mm of ultra-tender hair in that 30 mm knot, this changes not much but adds a tiny bit of stability.
The hair, the tips are almost as soft as the older hair of the 'Pure', but essentially both are stellar.

Got this set on sale from Simpsons. A Chubby has been on my list for some time, and when I saw this beautiful lime swirl I couldn't resist.
The Chubby 1 is plenty big enough for my face. I was a little worried it would be smaller than I was expecting, but it's perfect.
