Dove Original.

The only frankincense soaps I have used have all been from India and all have been a drying soap with fair to good aroma . My good friend Talal sent me this bar from OMAN . What a rare treat !... This soap smells like finely ground fresh frankincense with plenty of room filling aroma . Not drying at all and lathers up just great .

Barwa Organic Cedar Cologne Soap
I love anything with cedar in it malocchio especially after visiting my Aunty in Bermuda in the seventies and going to Lebanon in the eighties/nineties - once smelt - never forgotten.

I love the Sudanese Royal green Hojari Frankincense because I travelled from Egypt to source it because I was in love and made my own hot process Olive Castile soap with it - it's difficult to buy and like forging carbon knives the ideal temperature has to be in a 5-10 degree Celcius maximum operating window to get the best results; if you're too far out you have very expensive rejects; I know about both processes.

Can't get the high percentage (2-3%) soaps because it is too precious and rare but can get the absolute oil at $50 a teaspoon and commission or make your own soaps - it's like walking into a 1000 year old orthodox Catholic Church - heaven!

Hojari Oman Royal green frankincense oil
For a 4 ounce - 100 gram 1% bar it is over $10 just for the ingredients - for a 3% oil bar it's $30+ and with labour on top and p&p you're looking at $100 for a 4 ounce bar - worth it though.

Commercial Hojari soap bars are typically 0.2%-0.5% oil - otherwise is not viable.

That is bargain basement compared to Oud absolute at $1000 for one millilitre - the Arabians and North Africans taught the Europeans about fragrances thousands of years ago.
