There were way more total replies on the issue in the other thread; this needs to run for a few days before we know for sure.

But I'm optimistic :001_smile

Once again have to go with omega, all my semogues felt the same(not that they were bad, just bored with them). I wanna try a different company.

What's funny is that's why I get the impression that people don't like Omega - all so similar in feel. The Semogues have different grades of hair, mixing them even, to provide a dramatically different feel from, for example, an SOC vs a 620.

AND if you can find an Omega Boar for under $8 cost brand new, AND all Omegas basically have the same grade of Hog Bristle, HOW GOOD can they honestly be if one can sell that cheaply? They must all feel the same if they have the same basic Hog Bristle in them. Does anyone really want an $8 L.E. Brush? You know what? I'm going to buy one of these just to try it out. But I still wouldn't want an $8 L.E. brush.....

Here's the link if you don't believe me. $7.99 brand new.

Well I dont know much about omegas. I think maybe thats why I want one. Personally would like to have a rudy vey built one or another custom builder. While I have no issues with semogues once again just bored with them.

Voting for Semogue... Truth be told, I like them both equally, but the other votes seem indicative of a very short loft, and I think that, where short lofts are concerned, Semogue's Premium and Special grade hairs are better... I would probably lean to an Omega if the brush were a 53 or 55loft though..

These polls might have been more effective if they weren't all at the same time... Decide on an ideal loft, then decide on an ideal manager, then so on, and so forth... Just a personal opinion, though

I voted for Semogue. I currently have 4 of them & must say their overall quality is a step above the Omega's that I have.

Hmm...I've experienced the complete opposite. I own the 830, 620, 1470, 2000 and SOC. They are all very different from each other.
