As a newly indoctrinated member, I am confused on titles. I would like to have one, but do I request it, or would the up to the Pezzonovante to assign one to me? I ask from a position of humility.

Just don't be too overboard and name yourself something like Arch Pope summa cum laude first class... one of our bishops might veto that.

That is a new one for me! This is exciting! A giant thumbs down from the cult members. I must be doing something right.
For the time being, I think I like Acolyte. Maybe I can move up based on merit in the coming years.
