I am super excited to have gotten my Osprey back safe and sound after sending it back to Blackland for the Knob upgrade and to have it polished.
I won't deny that handing my parcel over to the postman made my backside nip shut tight and I broke into a cold sweat.
@Blackland Razors done an absolutely outstanding job on it because it's just beautiful and the upgraded knob is fantastic and now I don’t have to worry about the numbers fading.

Prep Hot shower.
Blackland Shaving Towel.
Brush Blackland Signature synthetic.
Soap 80th Anniversary.
Razor Titanium Osprey.
Blade Personna CC.
Aftershave 80th Anniversary edt.
Finished off with 80th Anniversary Edp.
Today's shave was with my beautifully polished Titanium Osprey.
I paired it with the Personna blade and although I always got great shaves with the Osprey, with the added slickness of the 80th Anniversary soap and the new Polished surface, the razor just skated over my face and head as gracefully as Torvill and Dean doing the Bolero, finishing with a well deserved Olympic gold.
Blackland really did pull it out of the bag with this design, there's not one single thing I don't love about it.
I have said it before and I will say it again, this is the best adjustable razor on planet earth.
Even my best pal agrees.
a solid 10/10 shave.

I expected nothing less from Blackland as their quality is as impeccable as their customer service.
Postman came today with my polished Titanium Lite. They look good together, don't they?

I can't stop staring at the polished TiBird. @Blackland Razors, the level of polish on this thing is absolutely incredible. I can't begin to imagine how difficult that is with titanium. Kudos to your team!
Hey glad to hear it! Polishing titanium is a bear, but we've got it down pretty well these days. I'll tell our Ops Lead, Matteo, that you like his work!
Is the polished titanium more resistant to micro scratches than the stainless steel? I like that the machined can be wiped down with a regular towel, but that polished titanium looks great and may make me reconsider.
Shane can tell you better but actually probably the opposite. I believe Titanium may be a bit softer than SS but personally I don't think they scratch easily. Not from handling or shaving anyway. If you drop them or bang them against the sink maybe. I have both of the polished Ospreys, SS & Ti and the Blackbird in Ti. I just rinse them after each shave, disassemble and dry with a soft microfiber towel. I get the small 12"X 16" micro fiber ones from the auto parts store. After a bunch of shaves I may disassemble wash them with Dawn dish soap using the same microfiber towels.
GTTony is right. Titanium is softer so it scratches a bit easier than SS.

I have to say this was my first shave with any Blackland razor. I was very fortuante to pick this up on the BST from a fellow forum member. I have seen how many pages are in this club plus other threads on the Blackbird, how great of a razor it is and all the love it gets. Well I have to say I was very happy and impressed with my shave tonight! I use to think that the razor itself was not all that great looking, nope wrong, once I saw it person, love the look. The shave itself was excellent, very happy as this is my first time using this razor. Looking forward to many great shaves with it.

Blade Willy's.
Aftershave Folk Soap Bay Rum.
Today's shave was with the Blackland BrassBird paired with a Willy's blade.
There will be no surprises that I got a superb two pass shave leaving me smoother than a babies bum.
The Folk Soap Bay Rum was another winner providing a lovely scented shave, rich creamy lather and finishing off a splash of the Aftershave to make my skin feel and smell delightful.

Razor Blackland Titanium Osprey.
Blade Iridium super new stock.
Aftershave Rogue Mousse Iluminee edt.
Today's shave was a test of the Iridium super blades new stock against the god awful tuck I have.
On the old blade even unwrapping it is a pain because the paper just falls apart and sticks to the blade, you can lose a finger just trying to clear the bits off before you have even loaded it, I wonder if at some point the tuck got water logged or something and they shave like barbed wire.
The new Blade the wrapper pops off as it should and I am happy to report, these things are sharp and I mean sharp, I had an excellent face and head shave with zero issues, just as well because I brought 250 of the things and would have had to sell them on the BST.
The Tcheon Fung Sing Torino soap was fabulous it reminds me of the Mastro Miche just with Almonds in the scent, why had I not tried these before?
That's what I love about this Hobby, just when you think you have nothing else to discover, something turns up that blows you away and blinking cheap.
This stuff and the Mastro Miche are in the same league as MdC for me.
