Banking Your Growth

I like to shave every other day or every 36 hours at least.. Shaving feels great have a couple days growth of the beard..

I don't generally do this on so short a term as a few days, but early every spring I shave my full beard down to a Van Dyke and by late spring I go either clean shaven or just a mustache.

I shave every other day regardless with my straight, I'll save up for three days before I go get my hair cut to get my money's worth out of it as well.

I love how when guys are going to the barber they save up the stubble LMao that comes up quite a bit actually
But I would feel it a waste to go to one on a day's growth

I get a way better shave if I take at least a day off. I think the skin gets a chance to heal more which lets you shave closer without irritation. I waver between trying to be clean shaven everyday and shaving every other day or longer to get the epic results.
+1

When I was a field engineer, I used to shave every 7-10 days. That was the only time I felt smooth after a Fusion shave (because anything feels that way after that much growth). I prefer every day now if I can, two days at most. I have blackbeard syndrome and look pretty bad past 2 days.

I have about 6 weeks of growth that will be coming off soon. Thought I would try my hand at a beard...don't like it too much and talk about having an iron will not to shave. Looking forward to mowing this bad boy down...not looking forward to what I'm sure will be a funny looking tan lines on my face.

The bearded tan lines are pretty bad... a lot worse then the mid summer head shave

Ed I have a shadow no matter how close of a shave and the second day just looks bad.. that's why I only bank on the weekend so I don't look grubby at work

Little late on this, but I like to wait a few days after a shave, regardless of a good or bad shave. I just find it easier and smoother to tear at three days worth. Makes me feel smoother.

I have basically shaved almost four months straight, every day, almost.

I have a break now, so Im letting it ride. 5 days grown, 5 more to go...then whack off a 10 dayer!

Ten days wow what razor and blade are you bringing to that party ? Or have you decided on the tools yet ?

I think its in our head. Its simply more gratifying. Similar to when you've let your lawn go a little to long and its gotten shaggy. Run the mower over it and it looks SO much better. But really no better than it did after the last time you mowed it.

First pass with Black Beauty loaded with a once used Feather (that has been sitting and mellowing with age since my last shave), subsequent passes if necessary with R89 and once used Feather. Pens BB cream, ASB add EdC

Well three days of no motivation I got a look from the boss... so 1912 got the call... and was super smooth awesome shave

Let's see your saved stubble sink pics...
This was a three day

I am exactly the same way. I love shaving every couple of days because you can feel, hear and see the razor and creams working their magic on the hair growth. Although, I should shave every day for work, I grant myself some latitude and allow the stubble to become more pronounced, only so that I can have more fun shaving it off; as weird as that may sound. Happy Shaving. Sam.
