Shave 3 with the BSS #3 is in the books. I paid more attention to the slickness this shave and for me its as slick as the BSS#1. I really notice it after rinsing between passes. There is plenty of residual slickness before re-applying the lather for the next pass. I use a fairly wet brush when loading and I think I can add more water when face lathering. I did notice the shine applying my second pass lather this shave, so it was hydrated well but I will try to push it, to see when the water breaks down the lather stability.

I think I am mostly acclimatized to the daylight savings time change last weekend. I am almost back to my usual wake up time without feeling groggy! Man, it must be an age thing having to get used to the time change. In my youth, it really only affected me for a day!

In my part of the world, there is no daylight savings time and the whole country is on the same clock.

Some people just get to work later than others.

It was a rainy day and my half brother Raoul recommended using Petrichor!! ( Lol, this is a nod to a Canadian Pizza ad for Pizzaville ) 🤣 . Yes I laugh at my own jokes!!


I find this soap has quite a bit of Oakmoss which reminds me of rainy days and worms on the sidewalk and its a rainy weekend so it will help me blend in! I also wanted to use this soap to compare the slickness to the BSS and MSS offerings. Boris' and Mark's soaps stand up against the B&M Omnibus base for slickness IMHO!! The shave balm hadn't been used for a while so I did have to stir it up some. Its more of a cream than a balm so a little goes a long way.

I had skipped a few days so this was a welcome shave!! I also treated myself to a haircut today! I was due as my last haircut was before Christmas :blushing: . I think I have my shaving mojo back as I start my 59th journey around the sun!!
