Arno 26mm, Mulan-1, 2-band badger, heliotrope stone

Based on the Oumo Tyrant, this hand-tied knot from Arno features soft and elastic bristles with a slight scratchiness. The density of the knot has been adjusted from the Oumo Tyrant, with the Mulan-1 being a bit denser than the Tyrant. This brush was part of a test batch and was released in 2024. The knot diameter is 26mm set at a loft of 53mm. It's an incredible performer and one of the best badgers in my rotation. When lathering, the knot blooms quite a bit and punches way above its "diameter class", a 24mm knot would have been sufficient, but the 26mm knot feels very luxurious nevertheless.

This Dscosmetic 24mm manchurian is my favourite of all brushes. I'm a bit ashamed to admit not owning a fancy chubby, if I had the money I would be all over them. They ooze class and quality. This Dsc Brush however is densly packed as well, van be had for a traction of the price and is incredibly soft.
