Nacet Blade One Shave Eight**

I'm confused about how a blade with eight shaves in a mild razor can shave so close. My whiskers must be defective. This was a great shave.

Shaved with the Muramasa and Sailor today with day 4 Nacets. Both razors did quite well with the Nacet…not too bad on the face and quite close. Finished up with Simone Andreoli Eterno:

I have a Nacet loaded into my TiThena hybrid (marine bronze V2 base plate)... I was going to shave today, but the day it getting away from me as I'm working today 4 to 8PM since I'm taking off Saturday to help my wife watch our granddaughter while her parents attend a play in which one our son's wife's nieces is acting....

Maybe Alex and I should have a club for people who own a Rolls razor but don't actually know how to use it.
Today's shave was alright. The Nacet 4(2) was uncomfortable without harming me. The result is pretty good. These are better on the first shave for me, but I am through my tuck now, and haven't decided if I will break into another.
Nacet is my favorite event blade so far. I wonder two things.
Other than being sharper, how similar is it to its 90 micron cousin Wizamet SI? I wonder if the steel and coatings are the same.
What 100 micron blade is most similar to Nacet? I bet I will prefer it.

Nacet shave 5....I think
3 1/2 days of growth which is unusual for me. No matter, the Nacet was up to the task. This was my 2nd shave on this blade after almost certainly damaging the first blade while switching razors. This might actually be my best shave since the Bonanza began!!! The Syntesi (another new razor for me) seems to be a great match.

Fourth shave with a Nacet in a Henson aggressive - terrific! A Nacet in a Henson is one of my favorite pairings, so smooth and efficient. I had nearly no facial impact, no tingle from alcohol astringent.
I am sure this blade would give more good shaves, but I have lots and bin blades at 4 shaves. I'll load up a fresh one tomorrow.

I shaved with the OC Blackbird and the Blutt 1.2 this morning. The Nacet is a great blade for both of these razors. Minimal facial impact and extremely efficient. The OC Blackbird was a bit more efficient than the Blutt, though the Blackbird had a greater degree of blade feel. Coming out of the shave, both sides of my face felt smooth and irritation free.

There is something about the T7 heads from DSCosmetic that make them very effective for my face. It doesn't matter whether I use the stainless steel version (T7) or the zamak (T7-SE). Paired with a sharp blade like the Nacet, I generally get excellent shaves that require little touch up.
This was again true this morning. Fantastic outcome after 1.5 passes. The half pass was really some buffing. My shave ended too quickly but I guess that means the shave was a good one that won't irritate my dry skin. Too bad, I was enjoying the scent of my new soap from Italian Barber.
I am tempted to buy another T7 head from AliExpress since they are so inexpensive.

Back to blade #2. Two passes plus touchups was all it needed to easily enter DFS+ territory on Tuesday evening. The smoothness of the shave was okay, but the decrease in sharpness of the Nacet was noticeable in the fourth outing, so I decided to retire this blade after the shave. Better safe than sorry. Results were almost free of irritation and close enough not to shave today.

Second shave with the Nacet today.
I have to say that the first one was a closer shave than I first thought, judging by the regrowth. Today's shave was much like the first one. A solid shave, bordering on excellent.
However, as with the first shave I did find that I needed quite a few repeated strokes to clean the nylon hairs under my left ear, and the slight irritation I had last time has been reinforced. I also felt like the blade struggled more obviously on the chin and moustache areas, enough that I don't feel like pushing it for another shave.
So, I would say this blade has performed exactly how I expect a Nacet to behave. Proper sharp out of the pack, but not particularly durable compared to some of the other top Gillette offerings.
