...I will say that the mentholated version is "very lightly" mentholated. The idea was that it would be like a spring breeze rather than the arctic circle.

No Ouija board or magic 8-ball handy, so I flipped three coins, and they all came up heads. Mentholated it is...

SWMBO wasn't keen on the whole buy both option. But I didn't bother with coins either. Since being reminded that it was only a touch of menthol I thought "What the heck!" an just ordered a mentholated one. Compared to the Iceberg Ice that I plan to order next paycheck (I'm not broke...but I try and hold myself to a tight budget) I might not even notice the chill.

I got both and have used each 2-3 times. The menthol is definitely subtle at best. The regular is quite nice. They both seemed to start out with a very subtle scent, but it seems that with use the scent grows just a bit. Very pleasant. Nowhere near as strong as the her Eucalyptus (one of my favorites), which is almost a nice slap in the face. I'm debating getting at least one more of each LE before she runs out.

Seriously...I have been using the Amyris soap (which was gifted to me by someone on here - THANKS!!!!), which I can't stand the scent it is just too earthy for me, but the lather is so beautiful that I use it anyway...I HAVE to try some others and I just got my puny $30 tax refund, so PLEASE don't run out!!! Man I was looking at the site last night and there are so many flavors I want to try, Drakkar, Lime Ice, this one...how to choose??? How to choose???!!!!

I feel as giddy as I did back in THE day looking in the new Sears Christmas Toy Catalog!!!!

Got Mine today - Finally!! Since It is morning and I just had a shave + am in the office I cannot try it out, but i cloed the door and put my nose in the tub, smells fantastic!

And thank you Mama Bear - that is a VERY generous sample of Iceburg Ice!!!! Almost scary, how could you know that I was beginning to regret that I didnt include that in the order?

I got my B&B LE soap yesterday, took it out for a test spin this morning, all I can say is WOW! Scent was a bit weak, but then, I was using proraso for the last week.
Great stuff, check it out guys.

My soap arrived in record time. The scent is great. With the hint of menthol it perfectly captures the essence of Spring!

Had an okay shave with it last night. No the soaps fault though. I'm at that point in learning straights where I think my technique has improved greatly, but I have dulled all my razors learning.

I had to get the wooden bowl after I saw a posted picture of it. She has a lot of scents I want to try. Think the bathroom remodel needs to be re-thought. Might need to expand if this keeps up....

IDK man I think I got lucky cause the lightly mentholated batch seems to have already sold out. I think she made less of that version though.

Just got my soap in today (mentholated version). I was not to crazy about the scent but once I got a lather going it smelled great. Very moisturizing and works well. The menthol was light, but noticeable. This was my first Mama Bear's soap but won't be my last.

Got mine in today in time for my shave. Love the scent, and it is a marvelous soap. This is my first MB soap, and I am very pleased. I plan on using it over this next week to get a feel for it, but first shave was great. Good work, Sue.

How is one supposed to stay with one setup while learning technique with all these choices? I already have 4 soaps and now have this MB and the orange ice ordered...

I'm still using just the one I started with to lessen variables, but how does one control oneself?...this is ridiculous...ly fun.


Ps...till my wife sees the extras on the counter that is.
