B&B essential brush

I have a Omega 49 boar brush and recently I noticed that it became very softer in their tips.
Bristle are splitting, and not only that it seems softer than 2 years ago, when I bought it.
I also noticed that when I bought it the bristle gets together with water and lather (the bristle doesn't spread when it gets wet. I mean) but now it gets spread holding lather. I noticed it after 2 years, but usually it takes a couple of weeks or months.

I also ordered a B&B Essential brush, and it has not come yet...
Have a good shave with it!

Manufacturers like big orders. Ask a large scale brush maker for 150 brushes and they are much more interested than if you ask for 15. Repetitive volume production is to their liking. There's going to be a lot more demand for a "special" boar brush at $20 a pop than there is for a "special" badger brush at $200.

That makes sense. Also glad to hear that the only thing that put an end to the Kent LE's was lack of demand, since they were the best brushes Kent made in the past 20 years in my opinion. I'm sure sooner or later the demand will be there for another.

I would get a hair dryer. Then palm lather with the brush; rinse out the soap and dry the brush. Probably 10 cycles before I would use it. But in truth, I am not a boar fan although I have two that I like.

I'm currently shaving with my Kent BK8 and then palm lathering with the left over lather from my shave. Hopefully that will do the job in a few more weeks.
