Aubrey organics deodarant spray

Morning guys. I used the Aubrey on my sensitive pits after todays shower. Well the result was awful. I grabbed for a wet rag immediately to douse the fire on my sensitive pits. So if you have sensitivity there, mark this one off your list of deodorants to try.

Another YMMV. I like this stuff. It has a nice, clean pine scent. It is pretty strong on the pine scent so I can see where that might cause some issues for people with sensitive skin.

Oh, I agree if you dont have sensitivity issues then go for it. But that is why I was very to the point about not using it if you have those sensitivity issues.

Oh! I might have to try this one out....I love pine. Cedarwood/pine QED is out of this world! Been using NB new spray deodorant with good success. Unfortunately I cant seem to ween myself off of Certain Dri though. But damn the stuff keeps you dry!

Burnwood, have you tried using the crystal stuff? You can get either the liquid or the solid; I find the liquid considerably easier to apply though.

I have a solid crystal in the cabinet, from Whole Foods. I will get to it soon. I got the Lichen Plant deo and so far it is working. But then again so was the JASON at first. So we will see. But the crystal is next.

Word of warning with the solid crystal: rub like crazy. That's also why I prefer the liquid stuff, it's a little less intense to put on.

Whole Foods is great about returning stuff. Think I should return the solid and gt a liquid? I always thought a crystal was solid so I should get the solid? I also think popcicles are solid. If they are liquid they are kool-aid.:001_huh:

bought the aubrey spray today and it is well...musky ...no pine scent. It doesnt sting so thats good. I was really expecting pine-cedar- woodsy but nope:( Oh well, it doesnt smell bad but at least i could skip the cologne for the day!

I've been there, I have very sensitive pits, I've tried every single brand of deodorant on the health food store shelves in the last 5 years. Nothing worked. The only thing I've found that works, but I can not afford to purchase on a regular basis, is a company called Miessence, and it's called Aroma Free. I found some on eBay once, but it's mainly available from private sellers, or on there website. It doesn't have any of the nasty chemicals that a lot of the supposed "natural" deodorants use.

Right now I'm using a rock crystal, that really started bugging me, so I moved to a liquid salt spray. It's not as irritating but I have to apply it a few times a day :cursing: I wish I could find something that's both affordable, and works.

Dang Dennis. We are in a bad boat. Try the Lichen Plant deo made by Earth Science. I think there website is earthessentials.com 3 days in and good but we will see after 3 weeks.

Thanks for the suggestion, I ried that one too lol, back around 2004 or 2005, within in days it was the classic beet red pits and couldn't put my arms down from the pain and burning.

The ones I recall trying:

- Alba Unscented
- Aubrey Organics Spray
- Earth Science Liken Deodorant
- Nutribiotic Unscented with Grapefruit seed extract
- Toms Of Maine
- Kiss My Face Unscented
- Natures Gate Roll On(Autumn Spice, and Lavender both)
- Avalon Organics (Both Lemon and Lavender)
- Jason Men's Unscented
- Nature de France Unscented
- Crystal Rock Salt (rock form)
- Thai Salt (spray bottle)

Those are just the ones I recall off the top of my head, along the way I've learned more then I care to about chemicals and additives that manufactures put in deodorants. I think the main irritant is Propylene Glycol, there's a few out now that aren't including it but allot of the supposed natural ones are.

I wish I knew how to manufacture my own deodorant The Miesence that works has simple enough ingredients, and I'm sure it can be made from scratch for less then the 9 dollars they charge for 70ml

Miessence Ingredients:
Purified water (aqua)
Organic aloe vera (aloe barbadensis) leaf juice
Sodium bicarbonate
Non-GMO xanthan gum
Grapefruit seed extract

Dang, the JASON aloe for sensitive did the same thing to me. Good for a couple of weeks then the redness came. I hope the Lichen doesnt do the same but it sounds like we have similar problems so it probably will.:mad3:
