That's me on day three and the shaves seem to be getting even better! It's a truly phenomenal product and when you consider the price it's mind blowing. As a bonus the smell has settled down and is very pleasant. I think I can do the month no bother, in fact I'm excited about it.

Day3, shave 2 - Slim on 6, Omega synth, Personna Platinum. I squirted a little Beard Lube in the brush to see what would happen. All it did was reduce the great Arko lather just a tad.

Day three, my lather with ARKO is improving. I think this will be a beneficial exercise in lathering by sticking to one soap and keeping variables low.
I love this soap it is very fresh and clean smelling especially after I squished the stick down into a mug. It seems the fruity grape/lemon smell has dissipated and left a good old fashioned soap smell.

Oh Arko man I am so glad I found thee. I am upset it took me this long to try it though. Hopefully I will live to 100 and can have 70 more years of arko awesomeness.

+1 to that. ive had this stick for 2 months and had no interest in trying... what a mistake.
Day 4 of Arko August finished! I killed my stick today but I've got 3 more so no worries.
Day 5, shave 3. Switched Slims, this one set on 3 with a new Super Iridium, brush is ER 150. Arko Man smiles upon me!

Missed this one but I'm. Of course, that is no change for me, as I use Arko every day. I've only used others a couple of times since I found Arko. I'm more of a razor rotator than a software rotator.
Those who love the lather but not the olfactory assault, grate your sticks onto newspaper using a fine grater from the dollar store. After sitting in your garage or basement for a month, the smell becomes very faint. Then press it into a puck shape or even roll it back into a stick. I do about 4 sticks at a time.
After 8 days of Arko my SAD kicked in and I used my Palmolive stick.
August in Texas is bad enough without the smell of Arko.
I feel like I'm missing out on all the fun!!! I had to chuck my Arko after two uses and switch to Palmolive. The Arko brought back some seriously foul memories of Cashmere Bouquet soap that I was forced to use as a kid.

I just found a half used stick of Arko in the back of my closet!

Third shave with the Arko. I lathered it last night with an Omega boar brush and I think that might do better than the Muhle Synthetic Fibre I've been using.
