Are You the Only Shaver in Your Household?

I converted my wife this winter. She's got a blue Lady Gillette, the giant HIS synthetic brush (perfect size for legs), and a chunk of Cella from the brick. We share the blade stache, although I think she's happy to stick with the Astra SP's. I use her Cella only occasionally because it irritates my skin just a tiny bit.

My wife snagged the various brushless shaving gels/creams I had been using, but she has no interest in abandoning her cartridges.

I use DE's and SE's; wife uses a cartridge; 17 year old son uses a GEM Push Button SE; 15 year old son uses a Schick Injector.

The wife humors me by using a Gillette Lady Blue, but no brushes or soaps. My sons have peach fuzz that they mow down with cartridges. When they are older, I'll get 'em a vintage Gillette or two.

Well, I have two daughters and a wife. My wife has threatened to use my DE for her legs but I told her that would be worse than stocking the fridge with Bud Light!

I didn't realize the use of these soaps by wives was so rampant! :)
Well, they have good taste. That's why they married us in the first place.

Seriously, although many of these soaps are distinctively masculine -- Tabac, for example -- I suppose lime and grapefruit are neutral, and it makes sense that ladies would enjoy shaving with them instead of merely smelling them on us.

My step-son and I are both wet shavers (with straights!) but he has his own kit. Shaving is a personal thing with me. One of those few times during the day that I'm actually alone.

Most of the time, just me. My cats don't shave.

When my daughter is here, she play lathers with Mike's lavender and a bladeless Merkur 1904 OC.

My wife's brother lives with us in our Bangkok home — he shaves with a cart and some strange gel, so we don't share soaps, razors etc, but he does like smellies and it's nice to share aftershaves and colognes.

My wife wets shaves her legs and has a gillette blue. She uses my creams and brush though. I am still trying to talk her into trying different creams that way if she buys them I won't have to hear anything about buying more supplies.
