Brotha I just pop a DVD in before I got to bed and it's done by morning and then I put another one when I go to work. But it's nice when you're laying on the couch and too lazy to dig for Rocky IV.

Just got one. Just moved into our apartment in NYC and decided that we weren't going to subscribe to cable. Saves $100/month in an expensive city and with so much to do, we'd like to take advantage of living here.

We signed up for Netflix (8.99/month) which includes all the on-demand stuff that is accessible through Apple TV. Man, there is a lot of it, too. Figured that was enough to give us something to watch when we want to at a fraction of the price. It's also nice to be able to watch/listen to anything in our iTunes libraries through the TV/stereo with home share.

For us, the price and its ability to work well with stuff we already have (Mac laptops, iTunes, etc) made a lot of sense for us. Very happy with the purchase so far.
