Any Beer Lovers out there?

Love beer , in no particular order these are the one i drink the most :

Budweiser Budvar , Pilsner Urquell, from Czech Republic
Bittburger, Wolfteiner, Germany
Boddingtons, England.

German beers are top ones for me.

nothing better then a ice cold beer :a8:, lately been hitting Guinness 250th anniversary brew:a8:, and some Sierra Nevada Summerfest :a8:

mdunn I don't fly but if those were full I would think about it

Guinness 250th Anniversary Brew?!

I haven't seen this! Where did you see this? Details man! Details!

it is out for this month only available in bottles which you pour as a regular beer, or on tap at select taverns in fact I just had some on tap a little while ago at my favorite watering hole in Wilm De. it is a stout a little darker the regular Guinness but almost the same great taste, I think the alcohol content is a little higher too

My Fave for years has been Hennepin, a Belgian style Saison with a subtle hints corriander and orange. The first mouthful, after immersing myself in the luscious bouquet, is the best. It just speaks to a comfortably warm Summer evening on the deck, enjoying a fine super-premium cigar, watching the sun set with family and friends. Ahh, just to have one now... Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Sorry for the digression.

Duvel and Chimay, right up there but a bit too expensive to have on hand every day - keeps them where they should be - Special Status.

In a pinch, Hoegaarden.

Current top 3:
1. Rogue "Dead Guy"
2. Stone "Arrogant Bastard"
3. Deschuttes "Cindercone Red"

Beer is another reason to live in Portland...seriously, a rogue Dead Guy out of the tap is instantaneous pleasure.

I like Beer, it makes me a jolly good fellow
I like Beer, it helps me unwind and sometimes it makes me feel mellow
Vodka's too rough, champagne costs too much, and whiskey sets my mouth in gear
This little refrain, should help to explain
As a matter of fact, I LOVE BEER!

Roger that! Tom T Hall, got it on CD.

Someone much smarter than me once said, "Beer is proof that God loves man." That someone, of course was Benjamin Franklin.

I agree with both Tom T and Ben Franklin, I LOVE BEER. Favorites for cooler months: Yuengling Black and Tan, Sam Adams Ale, and of course the more utilitarian Natty Light. For the warmer months: Amberbock, Fosters, Red Stripe, Corona. OK let's make it simple, I like cold beer... period.

I homebrew -- drinking my own Irish Red right now. Of the commercial stuff, I quite enjoy Harpoon's IPA. New Belgium has several that I enjoy, though I have a hard time getting their stuff out east. Their La Folie is a transcendental beer experience.

Hennepin? That's the name of the county I'm from in Minnesota. I better try this stuff. Also, the way you explain it makes it all the more enticing.

Probably my favourite is Chimay Grand Reserve. These Chimays age really interestingly, its quite cool to open a 5yr old one at the same time as a brand new one and taste the differences.

My two favorites are Orval and Chimay. Interesting about aging the beer and tasting a few years down the road. I may give this a try...the only problem is having the will power to let the beer age for five years without drinking it.

I homebrewed a couple times using Mr. Beer Kit. Do you use a kit or do you buy your own supplies? I would like to get back into homebrewing.
